This website is owned and operated by Timberthings Limited. These terms set for the terms and conditions under which you may use the website and services as offered by us.
This website offers visitors a range of services and handmade timber items. By accessing or using our website, you accept that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by the terms stated here.
The services and all materials displayed on this website, including software, images, text, graphics, logos, patents, trademarks, service marks, copyrights, photographs, audio, videos, music, and all intellectual property rights related are exclusive property of Timberthings Limited. Nothing in these terms should be deemed to create a license over any such intellectual property rights and you agree not to sell, license, rent, modify, distribute, copy, reproduce, transmit or publicly display an such material.
Aftercare:
Radiata pine is a softwood and will naturally expand and contract with moisture and changes in temperature. This often causes pine timber to split which is natural occurrence.
Radiata pine will naturally weather to a silvery grey colour when left exposed to the elements. This process can happen over a 6 - 12 month period, dependent on your specific climate and how much the furniture is exposed to the elements (frost / sun / rain, etc).
Splitting and silvering is part of the natural weathering process for Radiata Pine when it is exposed to the elements and is not considered a fault.
To help prolong the lifespan and appearance of your timber product, we recommend regular cleaning and maintenance including sealing your timber product with an outdoor furniture oil, stain, or appropriate paint product in accordance with that products manufacturers instructions.
Returns and Refunds.
It shall be deemed that the customer has accepted any product in a good condition unless the customer notifies Timberthings Limited of any product faults or defects within 48 hours of the customer receiving the product.
Defective products will be either repaired or exchanged, determined off the nature of the defect.
Timberthings Limited does not offer refunds on any purchases so please select your purchase carefully and contact us with any questions before completing the purchase.
Cancellation.
Timberthings Limited does not offer cancellations after payment has been successfully made. Please select your purchase carefully or contact us if you have any questions prior to completing your purchase.
Pricing.
The prices we charge for our products and services are listed on the website. We reserve the right to change our prices for products displayed at any time and to correct pricing errors that may have inadvertently occurred. Additional information about pricing and sales for items or services not listed on the website, such as custom items and freight charges is available upon request.
Payment.
Timberthings Limited reserves the right to request part payment of any item in order to confirm an order.
Timberthings Limited does not offer refunds on any purchases or orders made so please select your purchase carefully or contact us if you have any questions before completing the purchase. We are happy to answer your questions.
Timberthings Limited requires that all products ordered are paid for upon receipt of invoice. All products remain the property of Timberthings Limited until full payment has been received.
Payment can be made via online banking, EFTPOS/DEBIT or CREDIT card payments using our mobile eftpos terminal.
Additional credit card charges of 2% are added for all credit card and contactless (paywave) transactions.
Overdue accounts.
Timberthings Limited reserves the right to charge late payment fees for any accounts that remain unpaid without prior arrangement. Late payment fees are 1% of the invoice amount, for each day the invoice remains unpaid.
Any overdue accounts may be referred to a debt collection agency, with all legal / collection costs being added to the invoice amount and payable by the customer.
Freight.
All costs relating to freight are payable by the customer. All goods delivered via third party freight carriers are subject to that freight carriers' conditions of carriage.
Liability.
Except where otherwise stated, Timberthings Limited shall not be liable for any loss or damage of any kind whatsoever whether suffered or incurred by the customer or another person whether such loss or damage arises directly or indirectly from goods or services or advice provided by Timberthings Limited to the customer, and without limiting the generality of the foregoing of this clause Timberthings Limited shall not be liable for any consequential loss or damage of any kind without limitation.
